MSEIA - Mid-Atlantic Solar Energy Industries Association www.mseia.org The Mid-Atlantic Solar Energy Industries Association (MSEIA) is a non-profit organization consisting of manufacturers, developers, contractors, installers, architects, engineers, consultants and other industry professionals.
MSEIA is dedicated to promoting the benefits of renewable energy and to developing a strong local industry able to offer high quality installation and professional services to business and residential customers. MSEIA collaborates with the national Solar Energy Industries Association (www.seia.org), the American Solar Energy Society (www.ases.org), non-profit environmental organizations, and solar activists. In addition to policy work on the state and national level, MSEIA also works with county and local government to aid in the rapid adoption of solar installations to diversify our energy sources. |

NESEA - Northeast Sustainable Energy Association www.nesea.org The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) is the Northeast's leading organization of professionals and concerned citizens working in sustainable energy and whole systems thinking. NESEA facilitates the widespread adoption and use of sustainable energy by providing support to industry professionals and by educating and motivating consumers to learn about, ask for, and adopt sustainable energy and green building practices. NESEA accomplishes this through its Building Energy conference and trade show, K-12 resources, an advocacy network, high profile public events such as the Tour de Sol and the Green Building Open House, its chapters and members, and its Sustainable Green Pages. |

NYSEIA - New York Solar Energy Industries Association www.nyseia.org NYSEIA is a trade association with a mission to: a) educate the public about the wide range of available solar products and their advantages for consumers and society, b) promote an ethical industry of quality products and services, c) encourage public policy and commercial practices which foster greater use of renewable energy, d) promote R&D to gain better understanding of the market for renewable energy, and e) disseminate information about and within the industry. In support of the mission, NYSEIA is very involved in influencing the policies and programs in New York that affect our industry. NYSEIA has joined with PV NOW (the lobbying arm of National SEIA) to move our agenda forward at the State level. While there are many things that could be better, we are focusing on: 1) The expansion of net metering, and 2) The expansion of the incentive funds. |
